What is the best programming language for a civil engineer?

I'm 30 and I have never had any experience with programming until I started studying civil engineering in 2015. There I realized that progaming is a skill that the student or professional of any type of engineering should have. I know the basics so far, but I intend to devote myself to the subject. My question is about the most appropriate language for when I become a professional in my field. Is there a language that is the most commonly used by civil engineer?

Phyton, Matlab and C is the most common languages in the science and engineering field. If you are going to get into the real deep I suggest that you learn assembly.
