Why SoloLearn’s website so different than the app?

there is a lot of features that missing in the web. Like: Challenges, notification, commenting on codes, etc. it feels like the app is more like a social media while the website is just a boring tutorial. Why?

Hmm. The SoloLearn website hasn’t been updated in a long time, so I would say for security reasons. Somebody could Inspect the page and maybe use JavaScript to change how some things work, which could result in a big disaster.

The website is missing most of the features, I think its for security reason. Anyone with avarage programming knowledge can use DevTools to win a challenge or something. I hope SL would make a native application for PC Platform with integrated IDE.

You can't do challenges on the website version if you are into that.

Daniel. S (שריד) in the app version users can engage in challenge quizzes against other users to revise their knowledge of language syntax and to gain XP (experience points). This is not possible in the website version.

https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/701963/?ref=app One year anniversary of this post: https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/1172089/?ref=app There are already similar (if not identical) questions posted, such as the one(s) above. @Daniel, it's same thing like: "why JavaScript is so different than the Java". LOL Anyways, different plays better.

its because its an app and a website, DUH. Jk, the reason its so different is becuase usually if theres an app that means its one like a phone or something. if its on a website its on a pc or computer. and we ALL know how different thosw two can be.

For that exact reason I sometimes have to have app and website running at the same time to code and check messages same time.
