Why should i learn vanilla js ?

Vanilla JS is the same as the standard js without any framework. When other devs started using frameworks like jQuery, some people did the same thing without using any framework and they stated that it was vanilla JS (I found this on Morpheus's fact series XD). So understanding the basics and the standard way of doing things would help when understanding a new framework and implementing them.

I have started with jquerry and many more frameworks. But at a later point in development i realised that everything has become slow. Thats when i realised that i should start fresh with only vanilla js. And from there on i realy learned a lot about how everything works. So yes it is a good idea to learn vanilla js.
