Have you been asked about your GPA in an interview?

A lot of people say it matters, some say a Portfolio matters, and others say work experience matters. What have you been asked about in an interview?

Edwin While GPA may apply to other professionals like lawyers and doctors, it's never been a qualifier for programmers, at least since the mid 90s when I got started.

My GPA has never been requested for anything ever. But I have been requested to do background checks, job verifications, and drug tests. I've also had to complete personality tests, cognitive and aptitude tests as well.

David Carroll trust me sir! Your words made me very happy Because I believe that my past gpa's shouldn't describe my present situation(not because I got very bad, I am not even in college) In some profession it does but I am happy that I am interested in such a profession where it doesnt

Many companies put standards that whoever has GPA 3.0 OR 3.5 will qualify for the job. It's a important factor to know about your academics but it's not asked in a interview.
