Basically, it is about how many problems you can solve and to what extent, rather than the language and framework you know.

The most popular languages are Java, Python and Javascript if I remember right.

for data science, I would suggest Excel, SQL, Python and R. It's not only about the technical aspect tho it how you interpret and communicate the insights.
