We probably all learn programming for reasons lol, my reason was I remember my childhood when I thought I was Pro at using JavaScript and VBS Script xD although When I learned programming I chose Ruby and C++

lol, never seen those, but for me in the 1980s growing up, movies like, War Games and Big, and educational TV shows like, 3-2-1 Contact! were huge at stoking my Computer Programming interest!
