since am a starter in SQL can i import data or files from let say MS Access or database or i have to create one in MySQL

If you know c++, you can bind databases together. Or you can try export data to .txt then impot it to mySQL

You can even export to CSV file and import that into your own database. Even you can write program to export and import from one database to another
