You can read "Eloquent JavaScript" it covers alot about JS plus it has lots of fun projects like "build a robot","write a programming language","create a 2d game",teaches you how to work with DOM,Node.js.....
You can download it free from the web. Just look up "Eloquent Javascript pdf"
