Computational Linguistics / NPL / Data Sciences

Hi, I want to study computational linguistics, and I am confused of what I should do because my college doesn't offer any major as computational linguistics. I am currently learning Python and R online, as well as Java in my college where I am trying to get a computer science minor while my major is language studies focusing on Japanese. What else should I do? Is there any recommendation of NPL books / data science books or any reference / instruction books? Thank you very much! ā¤ļø P.S. this might be digressing but is there any universities that are good at computational liguistics? I am a third year undergrad who is aiming for graduate school.

I can highly recommend the book: "Speech and Language Processing. An Introduction to Natural Language Processing, Computational Linguistics and Speech Recognition" by Daniel Jurafsky and James H. Martin. This is the standard reference.
