Incorporating different languages in one program?

Question

Im studying Python and C++ at the moment. Im also interest in working with SuperCollider in the future, in order to make music related software. I was wondering if it is possible to combine different languages to handle different aspects of one program, if there are more affinity between specific languages (maybe Python and C++ are easier to integrate than let´s say, Python and Java). And lastly, if there is any IDE that could integrate multiple languages in an easier way. Thanks

java has JNI to interact with language like c++. but for java to python and the opposite, i dont know much

there was jython but i think its kinda outdated, maybe using CPython for i heard its possible but i havent look into it.

You can definitely combine Python and C. Idrk about anything else
