Python or JAVA for electronics engineer ?

hello guys, I'm new to the community, and novice to coding. which language should I learn as an electronics engineer ? I'm going to work in a start-up company in which I'm the only one electronics engineer or tech guy.

I'm also an electronics engineer. I started a 60 hours Java course, and I will start a Python course next year. The professor told me that if I learn Java, I will learn Python easier.
