Which language/languages are relevant for me?

Hello good people. I am interested to create a data mine from accounting & cost management software. For creating computer program and backup server which langauge is best and for data mining, which language is appropriate? I am a business management student and need to be focused on target. Focus on many language will be difficult for me. Notable that, I am a very new learner.
