I've most familiar with Maya, 3DS Max and Blender for the type of work that I do. Maya and 3DS Max aren't free, so I would go with Blender because it's free, open source and has a great community behind it. Not to mention, Blender is JUST (if not more) as powerful as the other two paid software. https://www.blender.org/ Just note that it takes a lot of time, practice and patience when learning this stuff, but it's so much fun to learn and create stuff with. There are a lot of resources out there to learn it for free. https://www.blender.org/support/tutorials/ ^Go there and you can easily get started. Best of luck! Animation and modeling is a whole lot of fun. You weren't really specific with the type of animation you're doing, so if you give me more specific information, I may have completely different answers for you. Just let me know! (Adobe Animate may be something more up your alley, depends what type of work you're doing)

Yeah, blender is both amazing and free! You can't go wrong with using Blender. I'm a game programmer, but I also minor in 3D modeling/animation, so I'll happily assist in whatever ways I can.

I use the web version of SoloLearn, so I'm not sure that I have access to that? I wasn't even aware that SoloLearn had private messaging. lol If I need to download it on my phone, I'll have to do that later.
