A question

If I'm owning a social platform where people can upload content. Can it get me sued if people upload illegal videos and pictures on my website? And how do I prevent that. Filtering is not an option And I don't think encryption is ether since all are publicly viewable

I would start by having a "terms of use" that they must accept before using it stating what all is disallowed. You would also need to actively search out and delete any such content. If you disallow it but then do nothing to enforce it, then people might get after you for letting it stay. Laws will be different from country to country. If you are truly worried about it, do your research. Only a registered lawyer can give you legal advice that you can depend on though.

If someone posted an illegal video on Sololearn, could someone sue SL before the Mods deleted it? I don't think so.
