Xavier- this will all take some time. My suggestion is that you finish the python course and then try to do some code challenges for beginners. Try to practice as much as can afford. Start with real small programms. You can find a lot of such exercises in the web.

Programming is not syntax writing but it's problem solving. so the steps for any programmer when writing a program is: 1- write bugy code 2- fix bugy code 3- code works (awesome code) 4- repeat

im 14 years old and i started coding a year ago, in the beginning i also didnt understand a thing but i set a goal to make simple game in python (pygame) a few weeks ago and i just started reading the documentation and trying things set a goal for yourself like a simple text based game and learn from doing it and searching on the internet

Try to create a copy of some readymade project without checking the source code. This way you get a project to practice and can get help from the original code if stuck. Then once it is done, try to improve it, expand it, or use it to get some idea for a new project of your own. Currently I am trying to create a copy of a video game to practice, with python and pygame.
