Is $10/hr good for simply text editing?

I've been coding for less than a month and my brother has gotten me a contract to simply translate the text on an app/site to Spanish. It's mostly scripture so it's really easy. It's extra money and I get to practice my code. win/win right?

depends on where you live I guess. I don't know the average payment for translators, but that seems a bit on the low end. try and use your coding to help with your job, if possible. at an extreme, you could automatically translate it all through google translate (quality might not be good).

I took 3 years of Spanish and it's definitely helped. plus I get Bible reading in. I even found a few errors in Father Josh's verse listing. A coding priest!
