Looking to make a difference, who can help me achieve this?

Question

So I’m new to this whole coding world, literally i have no experience. I would never clasify my self as techie and im looking to learn from experienced professionals. The reason I want to learn is because I have an idea on how a program could influence some changes in my current industry.

What is the easiest code to learn for programming/creating a software that will validate a specific set of data against another data source? How many consistent hours will I need to devote to this + learning?

Well, if you actually want to learn coding, then definitely go for it. It's just that writing software that is actually meant to be used in a professional environment may be a lot more complicated than it looks like and it's usually way beyond everything you'll learn in most tutorials. Even something as simple as adding a couple of numbers can go terribly wrong if the wrong data type is used etc. An experienced coder will understand that and know how to avoid it, but it might give someone with less experience sleepless nights. Given that he notices the error at all

It's not worth learning to code if all you want to do is write one specific program. Ask (=pay) someone to write the program for you.

if you want to learn programming, like with any other skill, you should devote many hours into practicing. if you want help from people ask as you learn, but you can't expect to learn very easily. the "easiest language", or one to start with, would be python. if you want smth to do w/ databases learn SQL

thank you both for your time. as I can respect both of the answers. from what ive seen, many start with wanting to make a change somewhere and find other opportunities. currently being in the payments industry for 15 years ive seen it change a lot, to be on the cusp of something new and exciting, is the goal. with all the access to gateways/API’s/SDK’s. I believe theres an opportuinity there for me.
