How to calcul the sum with php?

i have a table with columns price and advance .i have inserted sata in. prices and advances all are integer. i need sum(prices) +sum(advances) = total , how to make it?any help here ?

When you say "I have a table", do you mean a HTML table, or database table? because it seems to me - this question is about SQL rather than PHP (mentioned in Relevant Tags). If it is about SQL then you need to add SQL in the Relevant Tags.
