I disagree. It is only vanity to think that we will never be able to invent something that thinks, even creates, better than we do. It need not be a machine. We may one day use genetic engineering to create an AI. Or some combination of biology and machanics. If your child or you could have tiny, grain of rice size, device implanted behind your ear that would instantly solve any math problem seen by you eyes or heard by your ears would you get it? How would you get a job if everyone else had this device and you did not?

Only to those who feel threatened by it.

Is machine learning the same thing as artificial intelligence

People think that artificial intelligence might hack into servers which are important. It will also take many jobs as they are more connected to coding than we are

But we are coders and we can use our skills to defense ourselves

With advancement in technology i believe in 30years AI would comfortably take out human professions As the saying goes"He Who those not fear AI those not understand it"

I think coders like we know now will be useless in 10 years but hey, everything is changing there will be always place for people who has ability to learn new stuff.

anyone who programs knows that no matter how flawless a system is, it will wventually experience a glitch or provlem. this is the biggest problem with “AI taking over the world” or something. Realistically, all AI is coded with safety measures, but even with machine learning and other things, AI lacks the creativity that humans have, which is one of the biggest advantages we have over AI when it comes to coding.

Artificial intelligence is just what the words implies. Some of the simple tasks may be eliminated. But I don't think the ability to code will ever be replaced because life is irregular in itself and no machine can predict or replicate that.

Nature invented our brain by just trail and error, just fumbling around in the dark. But we are inventing AI using reason, imagination, cat scans, x-rays, eletron micro scopes etc. I have a dreadful convidence that will will do even better than nature, one day.

James McLain, nature did not invent our brain by fumbling around in the dark. Because of how we’ve evolved, each new evolutionary change is to adapt better and become better for our environment. our brains have been fine tuning themselves since humans stood upright. Nature and our brains are the equivalent to us and AI, in my opinion. one is biological an one is electronic.

Artificial Intelligence can compose songs, paint pictures, help in cancer therapy, drive cars and play games. It’s also starting to write code. It’s just a matter of time until neural networks will produce useful code. So things are looking bleak for computer scientists like us.
