HTML is so easy, you could teach it to young children. But HTML can't do much at all! It is the bone structure of a webpage. It sets up text in a specific order for other things like CSS and JS to do more things with it HTML you can setup text in a specific way. By comparison, JS can do anything. Yes, really, if you know how. With JS can make the text do a dance, then fight eachother, and then explode, then call your mom and tell her you love her. You can't do that in HTML. More simply, JS is used to bring logic to the HTML page.To make a button do something when you click on it, or perform math calculations, or have a chatbot talk to you, or really whatever you want. So of course HTML is easy, and JS is harder. You can microwave meals, but it's nothing close to the infinite delicious possibilities you can achieve with cooking. Same deal. Learn HTML, then learn CSS, then learn JS. You'll then be a web developer. HTML by itself is pretty much useless.

it is harder..that is because unlike html..js uses logic and algorythms..which takes a bit more for your brain to retain and understand.
