Start off with sololearn it has good lessons to teach you basic syntax of python but to learn in advance level I recommend to go for some online courses.

Heared about face-recognition technology, self-driving car, google search engine optimization, YouTube, Quora, Dropbox, Nasa, they all use python. It's not a joke buddy. It's the future. Put your head down and just start learning it!!!! Don't focus on what other say. Think about yourself, become selfish for you and focus only on improving your skills each and every day. Thanks!!!!!!

Python is a good language for beginning. Just keep going. Failing is quite normal.

16 years is a good age to start programming and Python is a good programming language to start with. SoloLearn is a good place to start learning programming also with Python programming language. Welcome and happy coding! You can not make everyone happy, but you can make yourself happy.

Most people I know discourage of using python because they use C++ and in python you don't need to declare the type of instance, but I've been learning on it and looking through libraries and its very fun and also easier to understand than other languages that serve similar purposes. I really recommend you to start working on it

Don't let anyone discourage you. Python is powerful, you can do a lot with very little code and, above all, it is cool. It looks beautiful, minimalist, clear, very organized, and it has its own philosophy. Run this code to see it: https://code.sololearn.com/cm1M84BK01x6/?ref=app
