Derivative of a function

Hey guys what's up . So I have a project for my school that should get a fuction (any function ) and calculate it's derivative I couldn't figure it's out . If you guys can help me I will be very thankful
The program can be with any language but since i only know java and c++ foe now it would be better with these 2 .
