Why isn't animate tag working even after writing the exact code given here?

I am writing the code on notepad and displaying my webpage on internet explorer

Try a different browser. If that doesn't work it might just be like the "autoplay" attribute which apparently doesn't work either.
It's come to my notice, not all tags of html5 seems to work anymore.

Right click on the file and open with Firefox

By default its getting saved as internet explorer. How to change that?

Maybe because it is internet explorer! This browser isn't always compatible with all.

Try running it on Firefox or Chrome!

Right click -> open with -> Firefox (or any other browser)

internet explorer = i would not recommend using - unless u don't have others (chrome).
that might be the problm
