Can anyone point me to resources where I can learn to put everything I've learned in coding together?

I've been trying to learn how to code for a while. I've learned the basics of the languages but can't put them together. I tried learning the following programming languages / scripting languages; Ruby, C#, C++, PHP, java, javascript. I managed to learn HTML, CSS, and I'm struggling with codeigniter and bootstrap 4.

Decide what you want to do with coding. Then take a learning path that meets that requirement. If you're new to programming take your time and finish learning the basics of one language. When you feel you have a handle on it, then move to the next language. Trying to learn many languages at once just confuses things. Since you mentioned bootstrap. It is recommended that you Learn bootstrap after you learn HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Bootstrap is just a CSS framework build around a bunch of CSS references and jquery.

Take a look at Hackerrank(.com), Mumbela Simonda . They offer various assignments in multiple programming languages to help you ‚put everything together‘ you‘ve learned in the courses.

Thanks for the answers ace and Chris C. Perhaps a focus on one thing will be more productive.

I have a good handle on HTML and CSS, since I've been practicing for years. Maybe I should focus on Bootstrap 3 and not 4.

What do you plan to do with you knowledge? Have you created a portfolio?

No portfolio yet, I usually do it because I enjoy it.
