David Carroll, I've saved the article that you've shared with us đand I found the above, so I would like to know if it's relevant that we can compare these two languages?

Denise RoĂberg Unfortunately, most of those types of comparison articles are really bad, filled with incorrect information.
While I've worked quite extensively with both languages, my last professional project using Java was just before the release of version 8.
I have worked with C# since before its original release.
I am looking for some strong Java developers who would be interested in working on a side-by-side comparison review of the two languages. I would prefer to collaborate on this with someone who has extensive knowledge in Java though.
Otherwise, my review runs this risk of being biased.
In the meantime, I've enjoyed this side by side comparison of C# with Kotlin. It does make references to Java as well. So, at the very least, I highly recommend watching this video.

The code comparisons start at around 7 minutes.

David Carroll Sorry I thought geeksforgeeks is a good source.
Thanks for the tip. Next time I will be more carfully.

Seb TheS I'm not sure what you mean by Microsoft products or Linux products preferring one or the other.
C# and Java are both cross-platform and interoperable. Without further context, that comment seems to be a reflection of the early 2000's.

I give boot for that đ© comment, I know nothing about C#.

zemiak That Wikipedia link is really good so far. I'll definitely review it more closely to scrutinize it for accuracy. So far, much of what I've read is really spot on.
Danijel IvanoviÄ Nice... I'll check these out as well when I get a moment. Thanks for sharing. đ
