Math is used to analyse the running times of algorithms, come up with new programming techniques, in Machine learning and data science, in theoretical computer science, in compiler and interpreter design. etc..

Math is really helpful if you want to be a computer scientist. You'll need to learn "Discrete Mathematics". It's really fun.
