I ONLY TRIED PROGRAMMING BECAUSE I WANTED TO BE SMART ENOUGH TO CREATE JARVIS LIKE SYSTEMS ...maybe having a goal in mind and knowing you are going closer to that goal is what makes it interesting ......

It requires thinking... and thinking needs brains.
Basically, I find the bugs interesting in programming, they open up a way to think wider and brighter to tackle it. Oh and I also find the keyboard interesting, typing codes creates its own music.
