What can you advise someone who has no passion, the reason to be a programmer to do?

If you are a lazy person and like to waste less time on boring stuff, you might fall in love with coding. I wrote myself a calory calculator, a vocabulary trainer, some word collecting thingies, when I want to count stuff in texts or reformat them, I can write code for it, you might sort your pictures or movies automatically... I think there's a book about it: 'Automate the boring stuff.'

I don't know at which stage of becoming a programmer you are and where your question is coming from, but I would say, that at some point after your first introduction to coding you ought to get interested and eager to learn more. You might have been sent to guitar lessons by your parents, but if you do not find your own passion for playing the instrument and making music, progress will be much harder. Learning to code can be geat fun when you find your own challanges and projects and see what you can do, whether it is your first webpage with cool animations, a simple game, or a tool to index and organize all your music files and maintain this information in a small, local database. There are many challanges and humps in lerning to program in any language and this interest, passion and ambition to master it will carry you through. You can learn doing things you are not passionate about, but hopefully you can afterwards continue in a direction where that knowledge helps but which is more to your liking.
