How to make codes? How to come up with ideas?

I'm trying to make good codes. But how to come up with enough ideas? I never seem to be able to come up with anything original and make that idea in a code :/ Any tips?

Well, everyone have different ideas. Coding comes with multiple answers. There are multiple codes that have same purpose.

We need knowledge and creativity 😋

Look into your own life, if there's something that would help you do a task better or more conveniently.

So not something like 'find a prime number', but something that *you* actually care about.

I plan to train my fingers for an alternative keyboard layout.

So I'm writing a little program that helps me practice it.

Or I want to work with a long text file and want to make some corrections that are hard to do with ms word search & replace alone. So I cook something up with Python that does it for me.

Well, stuff like that. Doesn't have to be hard, but should have a real life meaning for you.
