How do I reach my goal?

Hey Guys! I want to become a Game Developer...
I really mot sure how i should go about to become a game developer...like What programming languages should I know....what other skills and subjects should i focus on...

For all those who are from India:
What course should I choose after 12th?

If you want to become a game developer first of all , get ur JavaScript tougher .
Make 2d JS games.
I am also in India in 10th and I have joined this community 1 year ago and now I know how to create 2d js games because of this community.
Firstly I learned js , then I go through the lessons by Our Great Moderator " Happy To Help " ( he has created 12 game lessons for beginners , You can check out in his codes ) .
Then I started analysing codes of small games such as flappy bird , racing 2d and now I can make themselves .
So for 2d gaming , u need to learn js but If u want to make 3d games , then u should harden ur c++ because it plays a vast role in creating 3d games in collaboration with unity or unreal engine.
