Noobie, why isnt this working?

Hey, i'm new and just experimenting with scan f and making equations. (C coding) Can someone explain why this doesnt work? I'm getting an output of 0.

You are calculating vent =a*b;
Before getting input for a and b.
Now try to get input before calculation
