Some people told me to quit learning web development and start anything else like c++ Java and such things. What do u think guys?they prove their opinion by saying that web development is dying and u will not have a job. Is this true???

Don't listen to "some people", look at stats. There are tons of offers for web devs.

Web development usually lives longer than those who claim that it is dying. Coincidence? I think not!

I can't imagine the credibility of those making these unfounded claims about web development dying.

The Internet of Things is coming and 'everything' will be connected to the web. So web related coding will be required although I don't know how much of it will be front end. But I also agree with Jay Matthews that there are millions of people currently capable of web development of course at different levels of skill.

Within one or two years, web access would be running in 5G connection, which is super high speed 10Gbps internet connection, all the web components are instantly available in split second. So would web development be thriving or dying then?
