How do you remember the things you learned?

I finished the course for CSS yesterday and I finished the JS course today. Even tho I learned a lot, I canā€™t seem to remember the things Iā€™ve learned and put them to practical use! Any recommendations on how to remember/be able to use the things you have learned?

I keep short hints/notes as a word file for each language, and after finishings a course and i try to make codes using the elements i learnt, this helps me by both digging up some new info and practicing what i just learnt. Besides you'll get better understanding of an item while coding which seemed hard to you before.

Best thing to remember is to use what you have learned. Eventual repetition also helps a lot.
