Python what now

Ive learned most of the syntax for py. But it seems im getting no where. Ive only been at this less than 2 weeks. But i have no idea how to use what i learned. People i know that know python say math isnt as crucial as i think. But all i see is mathematical code posted. There needs to be more practice for retention and learning to use what we learn. I doubt python is nothing but highly complex mathematics and one line lambdas. Need more practical practice maybe. Or maybe i need to be a rocket scientist

First and foremost you need a TASK, something specific you want to code.

Webscrapers, monitoring tools, chat bots, websites, RPGs (yes, role playing games), games in general, automation... I think you need to stop over thinking, take a break. Sometimes we find the things we seek once we stop searching. Good luck!
