Sql with C++

Question

Is it possible to connect sql database with C++ program? To be more specific I am thinking of making a banking software in C++..So i need to store the data like AccNo, Pins, Balance etc.. Is there any library or something so that I can make a database in Sql and Store datas of c++ programs in it..Please mention apps/libraries to do it..
