Doing a job or building a startup?? Which one is better

Actually I'm interested in machine learning and working on my skills since 2 years. now I'm in my final year of graduation.. And I'm unable to decide wether to join in a company or to build a start-up with my friends..

You can try joining a company (preferably a hiring startup) to amass some experience about what it takes to run one, or at least until you're able to take the leap of faith after coming up with plan A, B and preferably a C. As of now, it feels like there are too many undefined variables in play to objectively determine which path would be more beneficial.

Want to earn money for sure? Get a job.
Take a chance to possibly make it big? Go with the start up.
