[Solved] Why followers list are also shown in following area??

it's true there's a ton of inactive accounts on Sololearn. Some of them are abandoned for good, some of them are just hibernated because of exams, getting a new job, going on a faraway vacation or any other legit excuse 😊.

Heck, I guess many people quit Sololearn because they cannot tolerate glitches like this one, for example. Some folks simply like to complain and take it personally when they don't get the feedback immediately. Though I'm pretty sure it's not the case in this good community ☺.

The other day one of my followers returned to Sololearn with a new nickname and a new avatar, asking me if I remembered him 😀😀😂. And I really did 😎. But it's such a rare occasion. I mean the returning not my memory ☺.

As for terminology: "dead" accounts are like "dead" batteries. They simply don't have the "energy" to function any more. Alternatively you can call them "lost" accounts, as if their users lost the password notes 😉.

Hmmm... it doesn't seem to be the case for me. I'm only seeing the people I follow in my Following list.

Am I missing something?

I didn't really notice any inconsistencies and I remove "dead" ones from my following list from time to time when I hit the 5000 limit... 😂

The lists are not really loaded in real time, so I might be that you've to refresh them by going out and in again... 🤔

Vitya Sure, you are right. 😉 It's not the case that I'm constantly monitoring my followers. I've also other stuff to do... 😎

I'm hitting the limit every few months, because I follow all my new followers, and then I'm having a look at the old ones... In the meantime they can relax without worrying that I'll unfollow them... 😂😂😂

Sonic I don't really know that they are dead for sure. But if they are after a few weeks still below level 4 or something like that, then they are pretty sure dead. At least on SoloLearn... 😉 I make also sample checks of their activities and that approximation is most of the time correct and good enough for me.

And if I want to follow more after I hit the limit then I'll have to get rid of someone...
