If you want to develop a mobile app, you should use swift or objective c for iOS. And you should use Java for android apps.

If you want to build a desktop app, Python would be the best if you're a beginner, although C is also a great choice.

If you want to build a web app (one in your browser) you need to learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, some database like SQL, and maybe PHP.
