i for one don't keep all of my eggs in one basket. i don't learn from only one place, i need a second opinion when something is not clear. one place is good for technical information, another one can be good for practice, and so on. i'm also constanly searching on the internet, i end up quite a lot on stackoverflow during my research, but nowadays there are a lot of enthusiasts that keep a technical blog of their interest where they explain quite well various subjects or offer an overview of the part of the industry they are involved in. all of this together offers me a satisfactory learning experience. thanks

I always learn the basics here then give myself personal projects to complete. When I hit a roadblock I use Google to help me figure it out. I find learning by doing to be effective.
