Javadoc is a tool which comes with JDK and it is used for generating Javacode documentation in HTML format from Java source code, which requiresdocumentation in a predefined format. Following is a simple example where the lines inside /*
.*/ are Java multi-line comments */Same doubt but cleared through comments/* The purpose is to have external access, without having to scroll through a million lines of code to find comments. Imagine having a manual to your car as opposed to having all relevant info written on car parts instead of a book. Or a book having an index and a book that doesn't.
