a fullstack developer is like a swiss army knife. he/she can work on all aspects of a project that a company needs. we are talking about front-end and back-end (the standard answer) and every technology that can be involved in making the project, that is the stack. it includes programming languages, scripting languages, containerisation, version control, frameworks, etc.

A full stack developer is an engineer who can handle all the work of databases, servers, systems engineering, and clients. Depending on the project, what customers need may be a mobile stack, a Web stack, or a native application stack. https://codeup.com/what-is-a-full-stack-developer/
