help debug my code

Question

Long story , I copied this code from youtube (link in a couple of more lines) copied pasted from git hub, don't know what is wrong with the code. The console reads Unexpected identifier, so I don't know if I need a let variable. I know I still have to clean up the code and make it more readable, but before I stare at this code for a couple of days for some simple explanation , I'd rather ask away.

You should copy the github codes from raw format, click the raw button on code page.

Note that store.js only utilities in store.html, not index.html

I did copy from raw, but how do I paste it over to the lines or do I have to edit that
