Why do most people not use Ruby to make Android or iOS apps?

It's not among the mainstream programming languages for those kinds of development and hence less examples are available in comparison to, say for example, Java or Kotlin for Android app development and Swift or Objective-C for iOS app development. Learners are more likely to start with these programming languages instead of Ruby.
