Subscripted is a text that is a little down and smaller than the original text ( abc . )
Superscripted is a text that is a little upper than the text (abc *)
. and * are the position of sub and sup text.

Subscript is a text written in smaller font a little down the original number.
E.g- When you write a number in binary and you denote the base as 2, the 2 that you write is a subscript.
Superscript is written on the upper side of the number like you denote the power of any number.
E.g- (ab)ÂČ, here 2 is a superscript.
