What are the main differences between Java and C++? And why learn both?

I'm still learning C++ and want to start the Java course soon.

If you know cpp, java would be easy to understand and fast to learn.. But you should change a little your approach to the code. I believe java is made to avoid errors and write soon applications, but remember you are using a object oriented language!
