What code is best to learn?

Question

I started learning a little bit of Python 3 code and then i asked what code is best for begginers.
Some people online told me i should stick to Python because it's most wanted Code out there.
But some say i shoud learn C++ or Java so what are your opinions please tell me

If you don't have a specific goal, it's OK to stick to python.

Yes, it depends what you want to do with your product/code. For example if you want to build a website then python will not be the best programming language to do it. Not that you can't build website with it, but maybe you will not be able to find cheap and available hosting to host your website on with python support on it. But if you get hired by those big companies like Google is or others then you will have to know python (probably). If you are like me, solo freelancer, then you will try with HTML5, JavaScript, php, c# and SQL. Because I think that way you can cover a wide (still) range of customers and stay on both Linux and Microsoft platforms. Although Java is another good option for you that I didn't have time to cover.

Qudusayo , over last 16 years I was working for several companies providing IT services for them, but lately I like my freedom to work from my home and organize my time by myself. If Google give me such opportunity I will accept it otherwise I will continue like this.

Vladan Cvjetinovic sure, for me it was difficult to learn them all at once. So over the years I slowly covered them. Funny thing is that the devices differ by them selves too. Like mobile phones are different by design then desktop computers. Then operating systems are different also. Having so many different things make so many programming languages. And for us need to learn them. Look if you need mobile app, you will have to pay for Android and iOS separately to be build, because the way Android and iOS operates. In this example, developer actually benefits because we need 2 developer to work on the same job.

Qudusayo oh, I don't really know what Google require from us, and probably I will never look for job at Google's. I just wanted to explain that for whom you are with (working for) it matters the most.

The C language and Assembly are the best to start with they are the key to most programming languages, if you learn them it will be much easier for you to understand most of the PLs

Python or Python3 are the easy programming languages but when you want to programm advanced and difficult Codes learn other programming languages

it depends on what field you’d like to go into. If you’re aspiring to become a web developer start with HTML. If you want to be a web app developer still start with HTML. If you want to be a software developer then start with c++
