Data encryption

My pc got a Ransomware and most of the file got encrypted by that,now files format chnaged to .seto,any idea how to decrypt it?(i prefer to start learning encryption my seelf so any suggestion is appreciated)

Ohhh wow. I'm sorry that happened man. Different types of ransomware use different types of encryption. Do you know what type of ransomware u got hit by (eg wannacry) ? Idk if we might be able to help with this but I suggest contacting a security company near u or take it to a local computer shop. Correct me guys if I'm wrong but its recommended to not pay the ransom. Btw is there a timer when payment is due ? If yes how long u have ? 🤔🤔

its about a week ago that i got ransomware,i removed it but it was late,as i know it is called as djvu

and other thing is that in my country there is jot such a thing like any computer shop where they can help me or security companys,so im in trouble for those options

Minerals2016 Thanks for sending,it helped me to get more details about djvu but didnt help that much,cuz my encrypted format was in “Unknown” Group😅so it seems i have to wait(i’ve decises to start learning encryption and other things required to fix such a thing,so if u know any course that shoul help me plz let me know,Thanks!)
