When is a good time to learn a new programming language?

Hi everyone, i just finished the basics of python but there's still a lot to learn about the language like data structures and algorithms. Stuff like numpy and matplotlib to name a few.... Should i finish all of these, learn as much of python as i possible can? or is it okay to start a new programming language? Thinking specifically about SQL

It's better to be a specialist than a generalist. Focus on python till you are job-ready, then you can start learning a new language
