it depends on company, on project level project size your work in project and basically ur need and want in that company.

Aditya, this is just one element as I put in my answer above... Maybe there's like a report on it? I know that the job portal Stepstone publishes a yearly job market report at least here in Germany. That's how I would approach it. Hearing numbers from other people without them stating their country, region, gender, academic degree and experience does not make sense. Also vice versa, nobody knows *your* academic degree, experience etc. so nobody can do it for you. I hope I helped to help yourself.

also depends where are you working in mumbai packages are very high but the accomodation is also very expensive while in pune salaries are bit lower but accomodation is affordable
