Is Solo Learn Just For Beginner ?

As a Machine learning student there are several library which we have to import while creating our project. But in Solo Learn You can only learn the python ( in my case) and can use its built in functions and modules. What about the extra library and module which requires in project. SoloLearn Doesn’t have the feature to install a particular library.

Of course. Once you have learned a course and practiced in the Code Playground, it's better to continue the practice on your local machine. It's hard for me to name any other platform, which can provide you additional features like libraries, for example.

Actually, SoloLearn focuses more on it's community and the tutorials more than it's code playground and libraries. And SoloLearn's code playground is not made for advanced libraries to build a big project. It's just a place where people learn and discuss about coding. So, it doesn’t have a very rich library. Also, SL just has a code playground, not an IDE.

I think it's a bit unfair for you to compare SL to SO. Even years of establishment clearly different. You wanna compare a teenager to an old man?

Does SO offer game concept like SL? does it have a social features like list of following/followers, feeds posts, and what about courses (disregarding material level). All I ask here before you make comparison is, be sure to do apple to apple, just to be fair.

About Playground, I believe most here would agree that once we need more than what it has to offer, it is time to do it in our own machine, with a full-blown IDE.

I understand you're disappointed at things, but I guess criticizing without at least a decent feedback for the better, don't get one very far.

IFarhan yeah somehow true but did you ever notice if you try to play with code either using built in functions / modules , you will get Time/Memory Limit Exceed. Now In My Opinion Even Code Playground Is Just Made To Print “Hello World” 😂

When you want to build something big, with extra libraries and packages, you pick up a feature-rich IDE. Picking up a social platform for building an app or a website or something like that is like drinking water when you're hungry. The purposes are different.

Sololearn code playground has the best code playground on app, you cannot find a more comfortable way to do code editing on any other coding apps.

But mostly it is for beginners because it has chapter based knowledge by which we can learn from beginning.

Solo Learn is a app to learn programming languages and discuss codes and asks. SoloLearn have just a Code Playground, that don't support "things very big". You need of a IDE. I recommend AIDE for Android and Android Studio for PC.

For machine learning you need a lot of processing power.
To train the model on a set of data.
And to test it.
Millions of floating point operation.

Unless we are willing to chime in for the processing power sololearn would have to buy from google to power it, Sololearn will remain as it is; so model training cant be done.

(Which is normal, get a Alienware Laptop if you want to generate computing intensive things like deepfakes etc

In general, sololearn is more for gaining an understanding of the base languages rather than additional modules. That being said, the community have created some great tutorials of modules, such as NumPy. Perhaps, in time, someone will create a tutorial for these machine learning modules.

~ swim ~ i really agree with you as you might have experiance but thing is , its not like what a coding community should look like, stackoverflow is one the best example - like if your code playground dont have that much capability to run a program , don’t use that feature in the app. ok leave it i have disappointment With The community as well as with some useless features 👍🏻

Mainly yeah but the sharing and asking and answering of questions can make it more for you. And by the way there is pro of solo learn if you are interested.

Imagine that you are able to use, for instance,the turtle library on SoloLearn? It wouldn't be a good experience to run some code on your phone with that module.

I would say that it's for beginning as well as seasoned programmers. Or at least has the potential to be. The community is what makes staying around after the lessons worth it or not. I myself am trying to see if it worth it or not myself and am trying to reach out for hello and ideas when needed as my resources are not exactly plentiful for learning how to code.
